Can’t Fight It

Am I the only person on the planet who has not read Twilight? I got hit with that question again today. I feel like lived read it because there’s no escaping the media blitz for the latest film or any of its predecessors. I can’t argue with Stephenie Meyers’ success, though. In less than five years, nearly 100 million copies of the "Twilight Saga" teen-vampire books have been sold in nearly 50 countries.

My respect for her was complete after watching an interview with her on CBS Sunday Morning. Meyer, who had never aspired to write or be a writer, said the idea for the book came from a dream about first love. She said, “It was this boy and a girl in a meadow. And they were having this conversation that I was eavesdropping on in my dream. And it was about how compelled they were to be with each other and yet how hard it was for him not to kill her every second they were together.”

And when she awoke, she wanted to know the rest of the story….so she WROTE it. And the rest is history. And the woman is still making it with book after book. She said, "One day I'm just staying up writing a story for fun. And the next day I have a career."

But what really got me was when she acknowledged that she never had started out to become a writer and that she realized what a fluke this whole Twilight phenomenon was. She said she never takes for granted the success that her books have become because she knows that so many other writers – talent ones who work hard at their craft day after day – never get the opportunity she has gotten. As a result, she appreciates her position every day. Stephenie Meyers won me over then and there. I give her props, and I hear the books are good, too.

Look out, friends. I may the joining the Twilight craze soon – a little late, but bloodthirsty for a good read just the same.

Wet Glamour released July 1st

On July 1st Extasy Books will release the third in the Immortal Council series: Wet Glamour.

Check out the contest my author has set up on her blog to celebrate. www.courtneybreazile.com/blog

After running out on Rina, his declared mate, Lucas shows up years later with an invitation to The Council of Immortals. He needs her to represent the mermaid species on the council, for very personal reasons.

Rina never wanted to see Lucas again. He chose his sister and his clan over her. She definitely doesn't have any interest in being on a council of any kind with him, and she is more than happy to shoot him down, while showing off her love free self, even if it has to be gained through magical persuasion.

When her sister is kidnapped by a psychotic wizard creating a deadly scavenger hunt, pitting all immortal species against one another, she knows her best chance of saving her is with The Council of Immortals's help.

Can she keep her love hidden from Lucas long enough to save her sister? Or will the song of love that she has been hiding burst forth and ruin everything?

Happy Father's Day

I don't like to celebrate human holidays, unfortunately my mate and daughter don't agree. So it was father's day and my wonderful daughter decided she must come home for the weekend and lavish attention on her daddy. As if I don't know how to take proper care of him.

I am used to it, she always gets into the holidays, very family oriented. She gets that from her father's species. So I stepped back, as usual, and let her have her celebration. She cooked, she hovered and she complimented. It was nice to have her home.

It was even nicer to have her picked up by her not so happy mate on Sunday night and taken away. Apparently her idea of them spending father's day apart with their respective parent's was not completely agreed upon.

Oh well, she will learn that keeping her mate happy through compromise is sometimes the best thing. I learned that early on, otherwise I would be a mated vampire living alone.

And in the spirit of this human celebration I was inspired to contact my own parents. Realizing it had been nearly a hundred years since any words had been exchanged between us. Not that it was an odd occurrence among vampires. I was delighted to find they were registered with the V-net (vampire network) and I sent them off an email message to say a quick hello and let them know I was mated and had a child.

I feel good about it, lets just hope my lapse into human celebration isn't regretted.

Candle magik

Do I believe in magic? Of course! Now, if you were to ask me if I believed in candle magic, I’d have a more complex answer for you.

Recently, Izzy has taken to teach a few humans, basic candle magic. That’s fine with me. Light your wicks and do the hokey pokey if you want to, but don’t involve me!

By now, most of you know that Izzy’s magic runs a 50% of success. Or shall I say, a 50% chance that it won’t backfire and catch me in its crosshairs. So, I’m a little skeptical about her doing magic at all, but this? This is just begging for trouble!

Last week was the first of their lessons. As I promised Izzy not to interfere, I left the estate in their capable hands for the evening. After tying up lose ends and tending to my clans needs, I returned to find that they had burned one of the oldest tapestries I possessed, called forth every horny dog within the city and I would be denied entry into my own home.

Apparently, a misspoken word from one of the “beginners” had placed a protective spell around the grounds, keeping not only myself, but several of my vampiric guards out.

Izzy, spent hours using her unstable magic to reverse the candle spell. I ended up naked, another vampire a statue and yet another one turned into a leech.

Silly humans, even simple candle magic is too complicated for them to master. You should not play with things that are out of your realm of understanding.

Ah, and to think I must endure this again next month…

Where have they gone?

Hello everyone, it's just me, Annie. Tamara's human writer. I thought I'd sneak in for a bit while Tamara is sleeping.

The other day, someone who shall remain nameless, primarily because she is Matriarch and Enforcer of the East coast and could easily kill me if she wanted to, asked me if I really watched vampire shows. She said and I quote, "You know that a real vampire would never be on a television series, right? Anyway, the only one with true value and worth watching was Willow."

Oh, duh.
Wait a minute! Willow? As in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Willow? Well, well. Mistress Tamara watched Buffy and liked the Witchy Witch Willow. Why doesn't that surprise me? I bet she liked Evil Willow, too!

So, it got me thinking...I know that's a dangerous thing right? But I thought about some of the good, old shows and movies that we never see or hear of anymore.

Buffy

Underworld

Angel

Charmed

Witches of Eastwich (Okay, not old, but it was pretty good until they cancelled it without the decency to finish the season)

OMG! What was the name of the show with Samantha Stevens, the good witch who married the dorky human guy?

Help a girl out here, what can you add to the list?

Stupid Sunshine

The sun is ruining my life, and I don't even go out in it!

So I have told you all a few times how I love the author I found to write our stories. She is wonderful, just the perfect type of person to put our stories into the written form.

I just don't understand her obsession with the sun! I mean seriously she has been avoiding me all weekend because the weather is nice. She says she has to soak up the sun while she can?! What is that all about? I think of her as my perfect match, for this project, but she forsakes me for the sun!

I tried getting her to appreciate the moon, it is really a very wonderful thing to bask under. She didn't "get it" she said, WHATEVER! She complained about the cool air and started shivering in no time at all, stupid frail humans and their need for the warm sun.

The sunshine is doing more than just take my author from me. It has brought my annoying neighbor out of hiding. She seems to like it as well and spends her days traipsing around her yard in short shorts and tank tops that the young weres of the pack seem to appreciate way too much. Tarquin thinks its funny, I think its going to lead to me killing the weres or the woman, not sure which, I just need my peace and quiet during the day. Not the revolving door the young weres make of my kitchen.

I don't know what has made them suddenly less afraid of me, but I don't like it! Something must be done, soon.

The technological age of sissy’s!

First and foremost, let me congratulate Lindseye and Wookie’s Girl. You were chosen as our daily winners. Contact me at: Naughtylittlevamp@gmail.com for your free NLV bookmark.

cpyrighttheft  Now, I understand that this issue has come to the forefront many times before, but I feel the need to bring it up, once again.

Here’s the truth…I am tired of hearing authors such as my human one, complain about their works being pirated.

Uploading a book or two onto the internet may not seem like a big deal to you, but for someone who tries to make a living at it, it is more than just uploading a book, it is stealing money right out of their pockets.

Why does this issue bother me? Apart from constantly hearing about it? Because, it shows me the decline of human morality.

I remember the days when bartering was considered a way of life. When stealing from someone was done face-to-face (granted, they typically wore a bandana to cover their faces), but it was done on a personal level.

Now-a-days, everything is on the sly. Hidden behind usernames and websites that help promote this type of cowardness and I have no respect for cowards.

If you insist on stealing someone’s work, grow a backbone and show yourself. Put your real name and address out there for everyone to see.

If you cannot do that, then perhaps, you shouldn’t steal from them.

Take it or leave it, there’s my two cents about how this technological generation has created cowards.

Have I missed something?

Perhaps, my age is catching up with me. Perhaps, the meaning of art has changed and I neglected to receive the memo. Perhaps, some things are just meant to be strange.

Strange. Yes, that is a word I associate with Lady Gaga. I find her strangely attractive and entertaining.

I am drawn to many of her songs, especially “Bad Romance”, as well as, others that this Gaga has recorded. Every once in a while, when I am alone, I allow the rhythm to move me. Do not laugh!

I would never subject the world to my dancing, although, for me it is not so much dancing as it is foreplay. The sensual moves of the hips slowly thrusting, enticing the sexual appetite to hunger for more. The clouding of all reasonable thoughts as passion starts to consume you and desire crashes into – forgive me.  I have said enough.

Oh, yes. Back to this Lady Gaga. I believe I have completely missed the meaning behind her newest video.

"The gay community...has been the most enormous blessing of my life, that I have them and their support and the way that they truly understand me and support me," Gaga told King. "My admiration for the gay community comes from an incredibly steadfast and joyful courage and very bravery that they have for one another, for their community. To be gay and to live openly in this society is something that requires a tremendous amount of strength and steadfastness....I celebrate their culture and their union and who they are, in my music, and in my fashion, and in my work, every day. And I will forever."

I admire her work, and bravery for being different, yet, I do not understand. Has she implied that lesbians are not part of the gay community? How does this video honor the gay community and I am using the word community as a "whole" when she was the only female in the video?

If anyone feels so inclined as to, how shall I put this? Educate me, I would be most grateful.

The video is from Lady Gaga’s website: http://www.ladygaga.com/

We got our fangs in Kevin Springer

wintersthaw_msr My name is Kevin Springer, and my love story with Elizabeth Winters (I call her Elle) can be found in Winters’ Thaw, book 3 in the Cougar Challenge Series over at Ellora’s Cave. Check it out: buy link

Kevin, what makes you special?
Am I special? I am who I am, and I’m good in my own skin, you know? If that makes me special in Elle’s eyes, I’m a happy man.

What differentiates you from your kind? Do you have special abilities?
I’m good in bed. It matters to me if the woman is enjoying herself. Hell, if she’s merely enjoying herself, I’m not putting in enough effort.

Tell us about your most current adventure.
Oh, man, the adventure didn’t start out as being mine, it was Elle’s. She belongs to this online group of friends who challenged each other to go out and find a younger man. I’m pretty sure you can check the whole thing out from the beginning at www.TempttheCougar.blogspot.com. Not that I’ve been cruising there to find out more about it all or anything. If you believe that, I’ll bet you own swamp land in FL, too. That’s how Elle found me. She is 41 to my 30, but other than how we met, age was never an issue.

Here’s my take:

Christ! Something about this woman set Kevin on fire. Ten minutes and he was on her couch with his tongue in her mouth, trying to keep his hands from wandering. Not that she was protesting.

There was a hesitation in her, though. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it but he felt it when they spoke and for a split second when he brushed his hand over her breast. It was why he didn’t linger there or push for more right then.

He couldn’t blame her. This was fast, even for him. Yeah, she’d made it clear what she wanted from him and hell yeah, he wanted that too. But the more they’d corresponded during the week, the more intrigued he’d become with her.

Finding out she hadn’t been with a man in at least a couple of years added to the mix big time. It had been about a year for him and he was ready to explode. Maybe he shouldn’t have let his desire build all week without jerking off but it was too late now.

God, she tasted sweet. If he came right away, he knew he’d only have to kiss her to start over again with round two. He figured he might be ready to let her rest by round five. If she let him stay that long.

Hot damn if not being able to read her wasn’t half the excitement. She didn’t need him, she wanted him. He was the one with the desire bordering on need.

Still, he could be a gentleman and wait longer than ten freakin’ minutes in her presence before jumping her bones.

Pulling back was hard, hard being the operative word when he tried to sit up. He couldn’t quite hold back a wince and was glad for it when she responded with a slow, sexy smile.
Oh man. He swallowed hard. Would fifteen minutes be gentlemanly enough?

He was giving that serious consideration when the takeout menus caught his eye. Dinner first would be good. They’d both need the fuel.

He leaned forward and grabbed the one right on top. “Ozzie’s sounds good to me.”
She sat up straighter. “Sure. You know the place?”

“Yeah. My apartment is a couple of towns over. A little closer to the city but a lot lighter on the wallet.”

He’d felt a bit intimidated when he’d driven up to her building. Elle lived in a luxury condo complex, complete with guest parking. His place was twenty minutes down the road but his one-bedroom, cookie-cutter apartment was an entire universe away in class and style.
Thankfully, that feeling had disappeared the second she’d opened the door. The clothes, makeup, hair, condo, it all fit her and she wore it easily. He liked that a lot.

“It’s a perk of selling off a house with equity and working longer at my career. Does it bother you?” she asked.

Man, he got off on how straightforward she was. “Nope. By the way, you’re buying.” He handed her the menu, pleased when she laughed. He hoped to hear that a lot. If she asked him to stay.

Maybe that was part of the key to reading her too. She’d probably appreciate it if he were as forthcoming as she’d been with what she felt and wanted. Shit. Did that mean he wasn’t usually that way? Funny, until he met her he hadn’t really thought too much about his role in the dating game. Just because he sat back and let the drama queens dictate which game was played didn’t excuse him. He still played the game. Worse, he kept dating young drama queens.

“Is something wrong?” Elle interrupted his thoughts and he realized he was frowning.

He shook his head and went for it. “Why don’t we go get the sandwiches instead of having them delivered? It would give us a chance to talk a bit and I can grab my bag from my car.” He paused to gauge her reaction. One raised eyebrow. He did that himself when he was surprised but still listening, which wasn’t a bad thing.

“I know you didn’t invite me to stay the night,” he continued, “but if it works out for both of us, that’s what I’d like to do and I’ll be prepared. Hell, if it’s as good as I think it will be, I’ll stick around as long as you want. Either way my bag and I are both out of here at the first word, no questions asked, no emotional outburst. Okay?”

She studied him for a moment, that perfect brow still raised as her intelligent, deep brown eyes assessed him. “Okay,” she finally said. “Thanks for the honesty.”

He wanted to kiss her again but he knew he wouldn’t stop this time and he was determined to get to know her better. He sure as hell liked what he knew so far.

Kevin, if you could offer advice to your author, what would it be?
Try not to be such a control freak. If it’s not working, it’s not right, no matter how much you want it to happen. That applies to everything from eye color to sexual positions. And bone up on the math, would you? Or at least ask someone to help you out. Oh, and no purple prose. Ever. One throbbing tumescence or one-eyed love wand and your heroes are leaving. Forever.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
I’ve never thought about how people perceive me. I’m just me. If you don’t like me, go looking for a friend somewhere else. I had enough drama in my childhood to put up with that crap now.

Is humor important?
Humor is one of the most important things in life to have. Period.

Is expressing love difficult for you? Why?
Oh man, getting out the psych couch, huh? Yeah, I do have a bit of a commitment problem. My parents had a great marriage, but my mom, she died when I was twelve. My stepmother came into the picture a year later, and that’s when the drama started. Dad is still married to her, but I don’t think he’s happy. He’s just alone, you know? I want more for myself.

It wasn’t until Elle and I hooked up that I began to feel like I may actually have a shot at this forever thing. She has her own issues, and we’re taking it nice and slow to make sure we can get it right.

If you could pull your author into your world, what do you think would happen to them?
They’d have really good sex. Constantly.

What is your most favorite thing to do?
Elle.
And play bass on stage with my band. (grins)

What was the best sexual experience you’ve had?
Holy shit, when Elle went down on me that first night I thought I was going to swallow my tongue. I mean, I’ve been given head before, and she’s done it since then and it’s fucking sweet, but that first time was just everything at once; sweet, hot, unexpected… Christ, just thinking about it still gets me hard. She literally blew both me and my mind.

A winner and a release date

This is coming from Zyra's author today, having found she isn't the type to bother with little things like picking winners. I have stolen her day to make sure things are done properly, and nicely too! I even dressed properly for the occasion, couldn't have Zyra disappointed by the way her author was representing herself. This is similar to something I have seen her in a time or two so....

A Winner

The first week of the June Extravaganza is over and although there hasn't been a huge turnout it was fun and I expect to see lots more as the weeks go by.

Remember that each day Tamara is picking one winner for a small prize and each week a winner is picked from that weeks post comments for a bigger prize. This week was Zyra's turn to pull a winner who can choose any of my books, a full list at my website at http://www.courtneybreazile.com/ to receive.

The random winner is Stacey who commented on June 1st. So shoot an email to comments@courtneybreazile.com and pick your free e-book just for you!

Its easy to win and next week another will be chosen from this weeks post comments so make sure and visit and comment often!

A Release Date

I also wanted to announce that Wet Glamour will be released on July 1st at http://www.extasybooks.com/ This is the third book in the Immortal Council Series and focuses on Lucas, an Animal Elf, and Marina, a Mermaid.

"The only thing worse than spending time with the elf who betrayed her, is having him find out she never stopped loving him."

More human problems!

Well, here we are again. Almost a full week has passed and not many people have taken advantage of the June EXTRAVAGANZA. What is a vampire to do, to get more active readers and participants? Should I visit you at home, while you sleep and implant the idea into your minds? Oh well, it is your loss after all, not mine. Fickle humans.

This past week has been rather frustrating for me. My human author had been busy doing other things. What may I ask is more important than writing my story? Does she not realize the opportunity I have given her? No! Instead, she allots time for the blessed Carly Bright. I knew I was going to have problems with Bright, but that story is for another day.

There are bigger problems to contend with right now. I have kept a watchful eye on the Gulf Oil Spill and even as a vampire, I must say it is disheartening. Human lives are measured by a mere fraction of time. It is our race that will continue long after those responsible for this tragedy are gone, and what will you have left us?

A crippled, unsustainable planet to exist on. I have yet to hear how those responsible for this have been brought to justice instead, they are the same ones who have been left in charge to fix it. I have seen this before, they are also the one’s that will be herald as the heroes for stopping it.

For humans, that makes sense…oh, they saved the oceans and stopped the oil spill. Hip, hip hooray, our heroes! But for those of us who are more advanced, that is complete and utter stupidity.

In my world, justice would have all ready been served and more capable people would have been working to stop this disaster.

Perhaps, it is time that we take back the world. Although, we do not tend to have much regards for humans, we do respect the planet we live on.

Just food for thought.

Editors, editors, editors!

Tamara politely asked me if I'd be willing to blog today. I'm honored to share space with a group of vampires and their sweet human, Delora.

Tamara gives me a lot of credit for writing her stories, but the truth is that I give my editors kudos for making it better. Every writer gets in a groove and when we do, the words freely flow uninterrupted from our fingertips to our keyboards. We tend to forget or overlook where proper punctuation fits, and whether or not our sentence structure makes sense, but there's more to it than that. In trying to make a point, some of us are notorious for long sentences or even worse, the dreaded run-on sentences. Then we have the issue of repetitiveness, and misspellings. Oh, the list goes on.

I believe that all too often our editors go unnoticed, while we tend to get all the credit for our stories. Our editors sit behind a desk meticulously going through all the manuscripts making our stories sparkle, not asking for a thing in return.

I wouldn't dare lie to you and say ALL editors are great. No, some should be banned from the profession! For that matter, some authors should be banned from writing, too! However, this blog isn't for them. It's for the editors that took our stories and made them even better.

I am published with eXtasy Books and what a pleasure it has been to be a part of the eXtasy family. I found encouragement and support from everyone there. Even the very busy owner, Tina Haveman finds the time to keep in touch with me, but I have also found the best editors anyone could have, Jay Austin EIC and Tex (sorry to bring you into this, I know you're shy).

My point in all this? Behind every writer, stands an unsung hero, and I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being there for me, for helping me learn, for having patience even when I don't, for encouraging me when I want to give up and supporting me when the reviews kick my ass. LOL

You're the best!

Musing About Author Websites

What do you as a reader look for in an author website? I’m currently in the process of designing mine. Fortunately I have a talented graduate student/html whiz/graphic artist working with me since I can’t afford the higher cost, popular designers of romance author websites. Perhaps some day….

Since I have only two titles up at present, a novella and a short, I can’t justify spending what some of those designers charge, although their designs are lovely. My gal Jennifer has created an attractive site with home page, bio, books, links, and contact pages. Pretty straightforward. I’ll have another short out on August 1st and I’m writing a holiday novella scheduled for December 2010. But right now, I only have two products to showcase. We must start somewhere, right?

I can’t see doing a log right now even though everyone says “Blog! Blog! Blog!” and I know a couple of authors who blog daily on their sights. All I know is, I have time to contribute to the Naughty Little Vamp blog every other week with my extraordinary eXtasy Books friends and I have time to write. There’s little time left to create daily blog posts on my own sight. And the authors I know who have their own blogs are posting recipes, recommending other people's books and pictures of hunky men. Every Day! Hmmm. seems like a waste of time of me. When are they writing books?

As a copywriter in my day life, I’ve written scores of client websites, but promoting oneself (like writing about oneself) is always challenging. I’m interested to know what turns you on in a website. I’ll have more content once I have more product, but I’m speaking generally here. With the goal in mind to inform and generate interest in books, what do you think makes an author website effective?

Invitee Sloane Hoffman, son of NGC’s CEO, accepts. He knows his dad wants him to take over the company. He’s been hurt and used by past lovers only after his money and what he could do for them.

Months earlier, they shared a night of passion but a panicked Sloane left without a word when Stacy inspired thoughts of “commitment” and “settling down”. His disappearance left her heartsick.

As game partners they’ll test games that require role-playing and sex. Undeniable lust and mutual desire quickly resurfaces, and they agree to a business-only venture. They choose games called “Hot Sands” (sheik and bride-to-be), “Teach Me” (nerdy professor and stripper/lap dancer) and “Royal Romps” (Lady and butler).

Spending time together offers chances to learn more about each other, fall in love, and share passionate sexual adventures. But, two misunderstandings occur, threatening to pull them apart once again, this time forever.

Memorial Day...I can respect that...

Another human holiday today, Memorial Day. Well at least I can respect this holiday. It makes sense to celebrate and remember warriors of your race. Sometimes I think humans celebrate things just to make the passing of their short time on earth more important, ridiculous holidays most of them. However in this holiday I agree, it is only right to give respect to the fallen, especially when they have died fighting. What a great honor for them, and they deserve to be remembered.

Vampires don't have holidays, it would be pointless seeing as mostly we don't strive to find reasons to gather in large groups and interact. But if we did have a holiday I think it would be something like this human Memorial Day.

There has been times when vampires have gathered and fought, to keep a sort of peace among the immortals during times of inter-species war. Our fighters have always been among the greatest. Strong and mean, skilled with combat of many kinds, although we tend to prefer blades. Up close and personal kills. It seems a cowards way to shoot an enemy from a great distance. Most immortals don't even consider this as an option, especially since a bullet wouldn't kill an immortal, unless you were to shoot a werewolf with a silver bullet of course.

Paxton believes we are headed to another time of inter-species war, so do the animal elves thanks to Lillian. I am not sure, and I hope they are wrong because if we are...it will take more than the Council of Immortals to keep it from the humans. Exposure would be worse than anything done to each other during battle. That may be the only thing on this earth I am scared of, and perhaps why I have decided to let my stories out. Most of you reading this may think I am nothing more than a fictional character, that's fine, but when you find out we are all real, maybe you'll look on us with a little more kindness, and try a little less to destroy us all...Maybe...

Meet Bright. Carly Bright…

carlybright My human author has attempted to blackmail me into introducing you to Carly Bright. Personally, I think it’s a terrible idea, but I am proud of her for the attempt. I could easily erase her memory and be done with this nonsense, but I am finding this most entertaining. I do love humans with a backbone…

The best way to introduce you is to let you read part of her story. You will find my name mentioned, don’t believe a word of it unless it portrays my ruthless qualities. *giving toothy grin*

Just as I slapped the cuffs on Eric, another scumbag I had to interview in the illegal deaths of six vampires, he muttered the one word that made me lose my temper. I was deserving of a lot of names, but not fang-banger. I rammed my fist into his side, and let him fall to the ground.

“That’s police brutality.” He curled into a fetal position while spitting blood.

“I’m not a cop.” I kicked him in the gut. “I’m SSA.”

SSA was short for Special Supernatural Agency, and we played by a different set of rules. Actually, it’s more like, no rules. We were at liberty to do whatever we deemed necessary to get the job done, even if it meant sacrificing a scumbag or two along the way. I loved my job.

“Now, tell me what I want to know and I’ll think about letting you go.” I pulled a cigarette from my pack and lit it.

“Are you crazy?” he yelled. “They’ll kill me.”

I knelt next to him and took a long, deep drag then exhaled the smoke into his face. “Well…you talk to me or I turn you over to the Enforcer.”

“She’ll kill me!”

Eric was human. No doubt about it, but my gut told me he was somehow involved with the murder of the vamps. Usually, that in itself, wasn’t a big deal, but this time it threatened war between two rivaling clans and vamp wars always had human casualties.

I snickered. “Then it looks like you’re going to die either way, but the Enforcer will take her time killing you. I can promise you that.” I took another long drag, giving Eric a few seconds to contemplate his slow grueling death.
Exhaling the smoke, I flicked the cigarette down the alley. “Time’s up, Eric. Looks like it’s the Enforcer for you.” I pulled out my cell phone and hit the speed dial. I kept important numbers programmed. My mom had the number one spot. The Enforcer took number two and Gareth, my boss had the number three slot.

“Talk to me.” That was the Enforcers usual greeting when I called lately. No hello. No, how are you. Tamara Hightower was all business in these volatile times. As Matriarch and Enforcer of the Hightower Clan, she gave her word to postpone the impending war while I investigated the deaths of her fledglings.

“I have someone for you.”

“Wait!” Eric called out as he scooted away from me. I watched him put five feet of distance between us. I pulled out my trusted 9mm Sig from my shoulder holster and calmly approached him.

“Hang on,” I said into the phone. I shook my head, giving him a disapproving look and then shot him in the thigh, careful not to hit an artery. Now, I wouldn’t have to worry about chasing him.

“You fucking bitch!” he yelled through gritted teeth as his khakis turned red.

“Someone will be there in five,” Tamara said and hung up.

Welcome to my life. I’m Bright, Carly Bright. SSA agent and an all around good person when I’m not on the clock. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Langley along with a handful of other “Supernatural” profilers. I had a partner once, Calvin Anderson. He aimed his 40 caliber at the Hightower Matriarch and Enforcer. He lost. That was three months ago and until my boss could find someone to partner up with me, I flew solo. Not a good thing for an SSA agent.
I’m the type of girl who feels just as comfortable throwing on a Vuitton as I do a baggy pair of sweats, as long as, I can feel the cold, hard, steel of my P-239 Compact 9mm Sig pressed against my skin. I’m not gay, straight or bi. I’m sexual. Well, when I’ve got the time to be.
I call my mom on a regular basis and I’ll take the shirt off my back for a friend, but I’ll pump a dirt bag full of lead without a second thought. Oh yeah, I’m also marked. Tamara Hightower, the same vamp that killed my partner Calvin, had put the first of three marks on me that claimed me as hers, even after my human death. It’s a long story and I’m still figuring out the particulars of how that works, but apparently, now she can find me no matter where I am.

Lately, this case had taken all my free time. The Hightower's had held a claim to the East Coast for nearly two hundred years and now some old, big shot vampire wanted in on their territory.
The SSA would have been happy to look the other way, if they had kept humans out if it. For every vampire killed, their human partner soon followed. Officially, we were investigating the reality of possible war and since the six human and vampire deaths went hand in hand, we got jurisdiction on those, too.

I was exhausted and that puts me in a really bad mood. Unfortunately, poor Eric got the brunt of my misgivings. I found him in a local bar drowning his sorrows in Tequila. I flashed my shiny badge at the bartender. He took a whiff of me, crinkled his nose and gave me his full attention. Vampires had told me I smell like the Hightower Matriarch. At least the mark was working in my favor.

Character Bites with Mykyl Tirson

PBates cover masters mistress Tell us about yourself.
Mykyl Tirson, Lord of Woodstown, Ireland. He can be found in Master’s Mistress, the first book in a possible series (still working on that). To Purchase a copy, you can go to this

What makes you special?
I’m the youngest of fourteen children, and the one my father King Tir of Brattlihid wishes had never been born. He’s always detested me, why he gave me Woodstown to lord over.

What differentiates you from your kind?
A deep sense of honor – I care more for my people than the riches that they hold. Do you have special abilities? Not unless you count a silver tongue.

Tell me about your most current adventure.
LOL – My beloved wife has surprised me with the news of another child. We shall see.

If you could offer your author advice, what would it be?
Quit tormenting my wife! The woman has gone through enough, she deserves to have a nice, quiet, relaxing life rather than battles and escapes and plots of revenge…quite frankly, I’d like a little time together to just do nothing but spend our time making love and talking.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
I’ve never contemplated such a thing. As the forgotten son I’ve always been easily ignored until I came to this world of beauty. Now, I pray the deities of Vallhala that those around me forget the blood that flows through my veins is tainted by the evil of my father.

Its been so long since I’ve pondered the need for approval. Most of my people are open, accepting and I am grateful for that. Yet, if tomorrow I lost everything but my beloved Amoda, I could be happy. What is in her heart is the most important to me, she loves me freely, accepting the man so few have ever really seen – and knowing the secrets that I cannot share with anyone but her.

Tell us a little bit about your world.
I live in a world rich with culture and vibrance. Lush fields of green roll over hills…giving me more wealth than my plundering ever could have. Its given me a chance to see life, to experience a great deal, including how the people who have claimed me live and worship.

Is expressing love difficult for you?
Gods yes, I’m a warrior, a king…expressing such emotion as love is for the weak, the simpleminded men who have no honor in battle. Of course, my wife is constantly encouraging me to speak my feelings – which I can do in the darkness of our bed.

What is the most interesting thing that has happened to you?
Finding love with Amoda.

Is there a message you want to get across in this interview?
Yes, knowing as I do the strength within my wife and her clans people, I want people to see what I do. As different as we are, as unlikely a match as you’ll find, one must look beyond the surface to see what lies within a person’s soul. Had I judged Amoda so easily I would have missed the true bounty that lays within her breast.

What is your most favorite thing to do?
Beyond holding my wife? I love to hunt. There’s something so exhilarating about chasing the game, stalking it, bringing home the game to share with those around me.

A mermaid and an elf....

I know, beach pic...but the next book is about her in that pic, Marina, a mermaid. So its what she sent me, no surprise really, those mermaids hardly wear any clothes at all, ever!

The next book in my immortal series is about to come out. My author Courtney Breazile just HAD to write this one even though it hardly has a vamp or a were in it! Well my lovely daughter does make an appearance, although I don't think I do! Its ridiculous, but oh well, you should all watch for it and read it anyhow. It will have important information in it about all our stories.

Wet Glamour will be out next month at http://www.extasybooks.com/ and it will feature Lucas, the animal elf you met in Alexia's story Keeping Blood and his mate, a lovely mermaid, Marina. I won't tell you too much about them just yet. I only want to whet your appetite for the story...or so my author told me I should do.

Normally I wouldn't bother what a human thought, but in this case, if I piss her off she will stop writing our stories and I am NOT interested in finding another human I can stand the presence of long enough to get them to write about us. So I am doing her bidding, tonight.

The animal elves, as you saw in Alexia's story, are insane...Their belief that all things should be equal and balanced is an obsession that is what almost resulted in mine and Tarquin's deaths! Luckily they are beginning to relax the whole, two members of different species can't mate. They still feel they are far better a species than any other. I would just love to see them all taken down a peg or two, especially Lucas's sister, Lillian....(my fangs extend at the thought of going after her neck)

The mermaids are...well they are like the sorority sisters of the immortal world I guess. Pretty, not too smart, definitely not very strong. They have some pretty impressive powers however, which I will let you all guess on for now. Perhaps Rina will come in here and do an interview next month to let you know more about that.

What is WHAT?

A fellow author with whom I am acquainted only through Facebook and with whose work I am unfamiliar – okay, I know you’re asking why he’s my FB friend, but who can explain networking – posted on his status today the following question: What is paranormal romance? At the risk of going mainstream, I just want to ask him if he’s ever heard of Dark Shadows or Twilight? He went on to comment that he had no idea and wondered whatever happened to stories about real people with real conflicts. “Oh, yeah. That scares the hell out of us,” he said.

If he wants real people with real conflicts, he should search the nonfiction genre for a good biography or autobiography, because the characters we fiction writers create live only on the page whether the genre is contemporary, historical, erotic or paranormal. But if he gives paranormal romance the chance it deserves, he will discover a beautiful blend of the real and the fantastical. Sexy vampires, demons and werewolves can shift shapes and seduce their intended objects of desire. Witches, ghosts and psychic mortals can sweep their love interests away with time-travel, futuristic and extraterrestrial adventure.

Fans of paranormal romance get enough real people with real conflicts in their real lives. They long to escape to a darker, more exotic and sometimes more erotic world where heroes and heroines have special talents or powers and where magic happens every day.

Then, of course, there is the business side of it. According to Wikipedia, between 2002 and 2004, the number of paranormal romances published in the United States doubled to 170 per year. A popular title in the genre can sell over 500,000 copies. This news is good enough to make some paranormal romance authors shift their shapes right this minute and dance a jig!

If my right honorable Facebook friend would like an introduction into paranormal romance, I would say that the Naughty Little Vamp blog and eXtasy Books are great places to start. He may find out something new about himself. After all, it’s like they say – once bitten!

Alexia sneaking in

So I decided to commandeer my mother's computer and blog tonight. I kicked her and my father out for a much needed night out together. There has been a lot of stress around here lately and I think she was about ready to go make a meal of her new neighbor, something that I, as a member of The Council of Immortals, simply cannot allow! I haven't yet decided how to keep her from doing this in the future, but for tonight at least, Maria is safe from her anger.

I wanted to also give you all an update on my story. After Keeping Blood was released there was a bit of an uproar among Ian's pack. They have been so very accepting of me as I am, something I hadn't expected at all. I wouldn't say that I was embraced by them, but I wasn't shunned either. They were all standoffish and watchful, which I respect greatly.

Which is why what happened after they read my story all the more puzzling.

They went out the next full moon and found Sam, who had been hiding out in North Idaho outside of any packs. They found him and delivered pack justice that they felt more than fair for what he had done to me, or tried to do anyway.

I was shocked, and flattered, even though I would never condone such violence officially as a member of the Council...but still it was quite satisfying to know that this pack had accepted me already to a degree that my own had never done.

No one will miss him and I feel as though I belong there among my mate's pack. A wonderful thing.

Blog Bites with J. Rose Allister’s, Lust

JRoseSecretParadise
Tell us who you are. I am Lust, demigod servant to the god Eros. I am a powerful, erotically charged being whose very presence arouses undeniable desire among humans and many immortals alike. I  make my semi-permanent residence at a unique island resort, where paranormal energies stir passion and attract supernatural beings of all types.
Did you ever read an erotic novel so stimulating that it sped your pulse and drove a hot rush to your cheeks? I am what you feel when a hot book or movie scene stirs more than your imagination. I am Lust.

My influence can be seen in THEIR SECRET PARADISE, part of the upcoming IMMORTAL PARADISE series of erotic fantasy romance titles by author J. Rose Allister.

Find PARADISE in eBook here:
http://www.allromanceebooks.com/product-theirsecretparadise-365034-140.html

…or in print here:
http://www.amazon.com/Their-Secret-Paradise-Rose-Allister/dp/1926704940/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269468952&sr=8-2
So, tell us what makes you special? I am not of your world. I am a god, a valued adviser to Eros himself. While many of my kind distinguish between gods, high gods, and demigods, none dispute the fact that my powers render me far more powerful than most demis among our realms. It is why Eros chose me to work his will, and why my will works sexual fire in the lives of mortals I choose to reveal it to.
Tell me about your most current adventure. This would be an upcoming or new release. Feel free to share and excerpt, remember we are promoting as well as, having fun and include a release date if you have one.

“Adventure” is quite the word for my work, true. After the fun of dabbling in the affairs of a paranormal researcher in THEIR SECRET PARADISE, I made a little side wager with fellow demigod Love, who serves Aphrodite and fancies his powers equal to my own. Love and I have chosen a pair of mismatched human couples for a little contest to see which of our powers are greater. Despite the proliferation of mortal tales of romance, I seek to prove that it is not necessarily love that conquers all.
If you could offer advice to your author, what would it be? Hang onto your pen, my sweet. Between tales of sizzling angels, gods, and vampires, the wild ride has just begun.
Are you happy with the way people perceive you? People perceive my power, one few resist when I turn my sights on them. My charms do get me my way by and large, from humans and immortals alike. Some short-minded mortals try to deny my influence, a mistake I take great pleasure in dispelling. Some short-sighted gods view my demi status as an indication of inferiority, something I have also been happy to disprove. One day, beings of my kind will be viewed as equals, and the demi designation will no longer exist.

Does your author ever try to take over the story? And how do you deal with it? A human take over my will? Make no mistake, when Lust speaks to a human there is only one thing I have ever seen them do--bend to it. She has skirted a fine line, perhaps, such as suggesting neither Love nor Lust is inherently greater, and that we are drawn to one another in search of the symbiotic ideal to our own existence. Drivel. A mere mortal cannot understand our motives, and at times her delicious look of shock at our antics brings a smile to my lips. Still, Jade knows better than to meddle in the affairs of gods.
Is expressing love difficult for you? Why? I’ve seen what the powers of Love can do, and I’m thus far unimpressed. My power can consume a being with torrid passion, yet leave their sense of individual identity intact when the orgasm has subsided. They do not cleave to the one or ones who brings them to climax, as though life and breath are dependent on the requited emotion of the other. Love can be a perilous emotion, and many lose themselves to its fatal flaws. I have no intention of weakening my power that way.
What motivates you to continue on these adventures? What else? I answer to the call of the god whom I serve, and games of Lust are what stimulate my nature. Lust is not only my name or my cause. It is the energy that fuels every cell of my being.
Have you ever lost control? I fear I am about to, though it is something I would not reveal to most.

There is a tale the world has not yet been told, where I helped a high god transform his mortal love into a goddess so they might wed. As a reward for my services, the god granted me favor. He wished for love and fortune to find me. I thought nothing of those ominous words at first. Then during one of the harmless wagers Love and I like to indulge, I encountered a woman. I fear the god may have cursed me.
What was the best sexual experience you’ve had? There is a mural on the bedroom wall of the resort where I make my mortal residence. I had the painting commissioned to commemorate my most fondly remembered erotic night, a royal orgy marking the coming of age of Eros’ son. The mural stimulates any who see it, and comes to life for any immortal who views it. For over a thousand years I counted that night as my best time. Then this year sparked not one, but two even greater encounters. First was the ritual ménage that sandwiched me between a rippled, erotic god and the sexy red-haired fireball our encounter transformed into a high goddess. Then came the night of all nights, and I am shocked to say it was neither an immortal orgy nor a night of ritualized sex. It was a night of passion spent between a virile immortal male and a lone mortal woman, one whose bed I was drawn to almost by force. I will never be quite the same again. Again, I fear I am cursed.
What are your opinions on Love? Mm, a delicious specimen of male god, though tragically his sculpted blond perfection is wrapped up in the delusion that his emotion-based energy is somehow superior to my own. I believe deep down he knows the truth, for despite many shared adventures he has shied away from offers to sample my body fully. I think he fears bedding me will prove every boast I make of my prowess. Still, despite his shortcomings and constant need to challenge my superiority, Love is the one man I have counted as a true friend. One I have had by my side for over ten centuries.

What are the pro’s and con’s to being a god? They are one in the same. Since the great battle that all but obliterated the veil between worlds, a code of anonymity keeps our existence secret from most mortals. As a demigod, I can walk among humans without them truly conceiving I am immortal. I can enter a lobby crowded with humans, and not one will have the insight to part paths and bow to the god in their midst. Yet, when I walk through anonymously, I can watch my power exert its influence on beings nonetheless. So indeed, the loss of godly reverence and a humans’ sense of self-importance can be a source of endless irritation. But I admit it has made me more of an enigma, and my powers offers greater sport when wrought on those unaware supernatural forces are at work among them.
How does one become a god? Generally this is a matter of birth, though some gods are made, not born. While few methods work, an explosive release of immortal passion can trigger human transformation. Such offers further proof that the powers of Lust are a force to be reckoned with. An example of this ritual takes place in a tale I recently shared with the author, one which will hopefully be revealed to the reading audience in a not-too-distant future.
Describe your best kill. Why was it the best? No one has ever died by my hand directly, and those who perished indirectly while under my influence were undeniably happier than they had ever been in their lives.

Mother's Day Suprises

It was Mother's Day last night and although it is a terribly human holiday, I still enjoy a day where I am appreciated above all others in the house. And so I have always declared it as a must to be celebrated since Alexia was a small child. And even though she is a newlywed this year she didn't forget, I do so love that girl.

Alexia planned a very special weekend actually, rather than just a day. She came home and stayed with us. Even with Ian tagging along it was enjoyable, I suppose he doesn't have a mother living to appreciate anyway so that honor really should transfer to me as his mother-in-law.

And what does a vampire mother get for mother's day? Always a large bouquet of white lilies, they are a favorite of mine, from my loving husband. And from my daughter and her new husband, the same thing I have received from my daughter since she was born, a beautiful picture of her. Only this time it included her husband as well.

A change, but a good change, I love to see my daughter growing and changing, becoming a woman of her own. She certainly has a mind of her own, I like seeing her using it more than ever.

It was all going wonderfully, the whole weekend, until the neighbor from hell showed up. I don't know what her crazy mind was thinking when she sauntered through the woods between our properties, but she came along as if she belonged. Bright and fucking early on Sunday morning. I was just taking Tarquin upstairs to rest for the day when the three weres perked up and looked in the direction of her house, through the wall but still looking as if they could see right through to what was outside.

I immediately readied for attack, my fangs lengthening and my eyes beginning to glow red, I didn't know what the danger was but I was ready to take it on for my family. A moment later Tarquin growled and announced it was our neighbor, Maria.

Damn woman thought she would help smooth things out and make peace with us by showing up with a mother's day basket of muffins she had baked.

Now don't get me wrong, I would love to not have issues with her, but I more than that want her to never, EVER come to my house again....

....and I may have told her that and sent her on her way with angry tears in her eyes.

What? I am so not a fan of humans and this one just seems to step on every one of my nerves!

Blog Bites with Isobael Liu’s, Lilian Quinn

IsobaelLiumoonlightandmagick
My name is Lilian Quinn. Well, it’s my legal name now. You can find me in the novel, “Moonlight and Magick” by Isobael Liu. It’s not out yet. It’ll be available May 3rd, so keep an eye out for it! You can find it at Lyrical Press, Inc (http://www.lyricalpress.com/moonlight_and_magick)

So Lilian, what makes you special?
Hmm. Good question. I’m not so much sure I’m “special” as much as I’m learning to accept I’m not a freak. You see, I’m not entirely human. My father is from another Realm, my mother was human. Unfortunately, she went insane and I was adopted. Sort of. Anyway, I have abilities that make me a bit of a freak. It also made me a target for some rather nefarious people. Plus, I gained a few more abilities, but you can read about that in “Moonlight and Magick”.

Tell me about your most current adventure.
My most current adventure? Well, let’s see…I’m on the run from a stalker psycho ex boyfriend, and a secret organization bent on world domination by genetically creating their own army using freaks like me. I meet a man who’s aggravatingly stubborn, but is willing to help me, even if I keep telling him to go away. I find out he has some secrets of his own.

Well, take for instance this excerpt –

Lilian had had enough. She stomped on one of his feet and with a shift of her body, kicked a foot out, catching his legs. She swept them from under him. Matthias lost his balance and went down to the pavement. Unfortunately, he didn’t release her so when he went down, she did too, and landed on top of him with a soft oomph. The others burst into laughter as Matthias lifted a brow at her. She thumped him hard on the chest.
“You were supposed to let me go!”
He gave her a crooked smile. “I rather like how we ended up.”
Lilian blinked and scrambled to her feet as the blood rushed to her face, heating it. The guys continued to laugh with relish.
“I’m so glad you found it hilarious.” She glared at them.
“Can’t remember the last time the Alph–oomph!” one said, interrupted when another elbowed him.
She looked between the two of them.
Matthias stood and she turned to him. “What’s going on?”
He sighed and gave her a shrug. “I suppose I should tell you.”
Lilian started to back away. “So, you are hiding something. I knew it. I should have known better.”
“Wait, let me explain.”
The guys sobered and watched the two of them carefully.
She lifted her branded hand, as if to ward him off.
“No, stay back, Matthias. I mean it. I don’t want to hurt you.”

Tell us a little bit about your author. Where can we find more of their works? And If you could offer your author advice, what would it be?
Isobael? Let’s see. She lives in WA state, is married and has a daughter. She’s a licensed falconer. She loves to record EVPs (that’s electronic voice phenomena) and has gotten a few really awesome ones – if you like talking to ghosts. This novel is her first published work, although before this, she wrote poetry.

Advice. I would say to stop being so distracted and stop worrying. Just write.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
Yes and no. I mean, people see me as this fragile, shy person and I’m not. I’m sassy, but with my secrets, I’ve had to be someone else to hide. My ex boyfriend thinks I belong to him, Matthias thinks I’m his mate, one of his pack members thinks I’m competition. She also thinks I’m trash because I’m human. The secret organization after me thinks I’m their property to use for genetic testing, and someone is trying to kill me for my abilities.
On the other hand, I’ve always wanted to belong somewhere, to be loved, to be accepted for who I am and Matthias is offering me my dream. I have people coming out of the woodwork I have no idea who they are but are offering me acceptance and love.
I still think I’m a freak though.

Tell us a little bit about your world.
Which one? LOL! The mortal realm is normal. I live in a small town, a blink and you’ll miss it sort of town called Hawk’s Point. It’s in WA state. Not too far from where Isobael grew up, actually. It’s beautiful – forests, a river, a view of Mount Rainier that’s to die for. I had a small house set in the woods but Ste…errr, you’ll just have to read the book to find out.

The other one, the otherworld, is beautiful. Colors are so bright, you can see everything in great detail. The air is clean and fresh. It’s a bit backwards in the way they dress and act – think of like old English courts, say, Renaissance Period or maybe a little newer, but still CORSETS? Isobael would love to have one, but trust me, I’ll go without thanks. I have this thing where I actually LIKE to breathe.

What kind of music do you listen to?
Classical and ethnic music, like belly dancing music, some Chinese music (Isobael’s half Taiwanese), and I love techno. I love the beats.

Is humor important? Why or why not?
Definitely, yes. Without it, we’d all be boring and bored. We need the fun, the laughter. It helps release stress. It relaxes.

Is expressing love difficult for you? Why?
At first, yes. I grew up with a stepfather that was quite abusive, and then I was used as an experiment. They didn’t believe in giving us children any affection. Then, when I escaped, I met my ex boyfriend and at first, I thought he was a good man, but he became abusive. I had no experience in what love is until I met Matthias.

What is the most interesting thing that has happened to you?
LOL. Let’s see – I killed my stepfather, I have all these freaky abilities, I’m on the run, I’m the mate of a werewolf, I’m the daughter of the Summer Court King. Take your pick!

If you could pull your author into your world, what do you think would happen to them?
Oh, she would FREAK! Definitely freak…and then she’d want to go through the Mists. I’d probably never get her out of there. Oh, and she would love my father’s Court. The gowns, the dancing, the corsets, the swords. It’s probably safer she doesn’t have the ability to come into my world.

If you were brought into this world, what would be your first order of business?
Does throttling your author count? LOL

If you had the chance to meet another character, who would it be and why?
Another character from other books? Hmmm. Isobael’s working on a novel now and there’s a character I’d love to meet from there. Her name is Lina. She’s a swordswoman and swordsmith. I’d love to meet some of those yummy men from Christine Feehan’s novels. (Don’t tell Matthias I said that!)

What is your most favorite thing to do?
Have fun. Whether it’s relaxing or doing something, as long as I’m having fun, it’s my favorite thing to do. I didn’t get a lot of it growing up, so you can see where I’m trying to catch up with all the things I missed out.

Do you think you are a superior being?
Oh, hell no. I’m still learning to think of myself as something other than a freak. There’s no way I’d think of myself as superior. I make mistakes. I put my jeans on one leg at a time. I run around barefoot. I like sneaking ice cream in the middle of the night. I have a temper. No, definitely not superior.

What are your opinions on Werewolves?
Giant puppies with long claws and huge teeth. Don’t tell Matthias I said that either. Still, they’re gorgeous, fierce, protective, loving. They make mistakes too, but they’ll give their lives for those they love. They can be arrogant though, and possessive, so you need to learn how to accept it in them but go around it to get what you want.

What are the pro’s and con’s to being a Sidhe?
Well, for one thing, it hurt like HELL when I went through the Chrysalis. I have all the allergies of the Sidhe, iron, salt, etc. Pro’s though are the awesome abilities and the fact I can travel between the two realms.

How does one become Sidhe?
You can’t. Not unless one of your parents were one. You have to be a half breed, and then go through the Chrysalis, which will either kill you, drive you insane, or make you Sidhe. Yeah, not the greatest of odds, huh?

What kind of abilities do you get when you become a Sidhe?Shapeshifting is one. Healing, telekinesis, telepathy, some wickedly awesome energy balls you can use in battle. Energy shields, those tend to come in handy.

What makes being with a Sidhe the best sexual experience?
LOL. It doesn’t. Well, maybe the fact we can mentally connect with our partner and feel what they feel or make them feel what we feel. It can drive up the passion quite a bit, but other than that, it’s really the fact we’re with the person we love that makes it awesome.

How old are you?
Old enough to know, young enough to keep doing it. LOL.

Finally, is there something you wished we had asked, but didn’t?
Hey! There’s no list for Sidhe/Faeries! Of course, it’s not like we want people to know how awesome we are, how better we are then those furballs or those leeches. We like our anonymity. I mean, really, I can shift into any animal form, not just a breed form the furballs are limited to and though I like my neck nibbled on, I can’t see myself drinking blood. Eww! Although, we have to watch out for the leeches. Our blood is addictive to them. It’s like a drug to the vamps. Yeah, so I think I’ll stay away from them. I have a hard enough time dealing with Matthias and his autocratic ways, I don’t need to be a slave to a leech.

Good point. I’ll have to speak with my human author and add that category. Thanks for joining us today.
