Yup! I snuck in, again...

Hello everyone!
It's me agian, Izzy. Missed me? I had to wait for Tamara to stop watching me like a hawk so I could hack into her blog. For some reason, she just doesn't seem to trust that I won't screw something up. *makes pouty face* Oh, well. She'll deal.

I've been a little hurt that no one and I mean, no one, has asked me to do an interview. So, I'm being proactive and wrote down some questions I thought you'll like answers to. Hope I can get through all the questions before Missy T shows up!

Okay, here goes...

What makes me special?
Special? I’m a half-Witch, half Vampire. I’d say that makes me special, wouldn’t you?

What differentiates me from my kind?
Well, let’s see…the fact that since Tamara got her fangs in me, ALL my spells go loopy! I can’t seem to conjure up even the simplest magic anymore. Last time…well, maybe I shouldn’t say. Oh, hell. Why not? The last time we were making love, well…she ended up with a tail! *laughs loudly* I know! You should have seen the look on her face. It was a Kodak moment, for sure. Priceless! *laughs harder* Don’t worry. It disappeared. She’s all better now.

Lustful Torment http://tinyurl.com/yj7ubre

Yeah, okay. The whole tail incident didn’t help me either. *snickers*

Am I happy with the way people perceive me?
No. I’m not sure why, but people tend to think that I’m an airhead or a bitch. Or is it a bitchy airhead? Go figure, right! Yeah, me *points to herself* of all people. Okay. I hear you. You don’t have to yell! Yes, I left Tamara for Abby, but it isn’t what you think. I planned on going back all along. It’s just that things got complicated. You see, I wanted to find that Vixen Bitch Celeste and take her down, but she surrounded herself among Mages. Who, by the way, would have sensed Tamara and killed her. So, I went undercover. *shifts in seat* Tamara is still pissed about that!

If I could offer Tamara’s human author advice, what would it be?
I’m so glad you asked! Well, for starters, stop making me out to be an idiot. I’m not a 60’s reject, you know! I wasn’t even born yet, that’s Jazz you’re confusing me with. Oh and another thing, I thought you couldn’t meet with me because you were busy with Tamara, but you had time to tell someone else’s story? Sessions That’s just wrong! Don’t be surprised if you end up with a tail for a while.

What’s the kinkiest thing I’ve done?
Does having it done to me count? Well, it was back in the first story, For the love of Blood http://tinyurl.com/2dtu3yz that Tamara showed me what pearls were for *blushes* Wow! What a night that was!

And then in Cheating Death, http://tinyurl.com/2akst6y there was the time on Jules sofa bed with the scarf.

Oh, wait! There was this one time in Dying to Live, http://tinyurl.com/22o8kcs when I was in New Orleans and met the goddess Aisha. She liked it rough!

You didn’t think I’d really tell you, did you? I don’t kiss and tell. Pervert.

Have you ever, deliberately withheld information from your partner, who also happens to be the Matriarch of your Clan?
Huh? Wait a minute! I didn't write that question. Oh, shit...I hear Tamara coming. I'd better go. She's been in a mood ever since she found out I knew, I wasn't pregnant and then when my magic pulled my sister into our lives, well, Tamara lost a gasket!

I'll write soon :)
Hugs to you Zyra and Jonathan and Delora and Anne!

Toodles!

Character Bites with Lord LeCarde

Vespia-Demon-Hunter-2-Seek-and-Destroy-mockup2 My name is Lord LeCarde. I am a vampire of the highest honor, like my father before me. My lineage is of pure vampire descent and in order to keep it that way I have been chosen to stop the demon hunter, Costa Calabrese, from eradicating my entire line. You will find me in Demon Hunter: The Chosen, the first release in a trilogy of terror from AspenMountainPress.com and author Cynthia Vespia (www.CynthiaVespia.com)

What makes you special?
As I said my line is pure. I’m a direct descendant from vampires of nobility, not some half breed who mixed with a human or took a bite to the neck to join our ranks. Abilities? I have many skills. My strength is unsurpassed, my wit in a class of its own, and my charm outranks the highest of nobles. But if you get me in a rage I assure you that you will never know evil more singularly personified than in the form I shift into.

Tell us about your most current adventure.
I am currently tormenting the hunter of demons in his annals Demon Hunter: The Chosen One (AspenMountainPress.com). Read this excerpt where Costa and his companions stumble on a dinner party I was sharing with my clan. How I hate being interrupted when I’m eating:

If you, Lord LeCarde, could offer advice to your author, what would it be?
My author, Cynthia Vespia, likes to play puppet master. I tend to enjoy doing the same. My advice would be a spin-off series covering my rise to power. Afterall, vampires are all the rage these days.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
No. People fear me, they fear my kind, that’s the way it should be. Vampires mixing with humans or other species is strictly forbidden. Humans are for food. They are the weak. Their kind should be eradicated from the earth. And so shall it be…but first the hunter, the chosen one, Costa Calabrese and then the rest of you!

What is the most interesting thing that has happened to you?
My transition into power. I remember fondly the days of my youth when my father would provide me with fresh kill and watch as I drained them of their very life force. As vampires we do not just take the blood and the life but the soul as well for that is where the power lies. But soon it was time I moved into my own, became my own man so-to-speak. I couldn’t very well do that with my father calling the shots. He was Lord of the Manor, he always would be until the day he died. I just made that day come a little sooner than expected.

Share a little bit of the ‘real’ you with our readers. Any Dark secrets?
The real me? I have nothing to hide. I rather like myself very much. A regal vampire enriched with power striking fear into the hearts of men. How could you not enjoy that? I will say this though…I drew up on my first kill. You can’t fault me for it though…it was my father afterall.

What is your most favorite thing to do?
Inflict terror. I never kill my prey without having some fun with them first. It’s a joy to watch their expression change, to feel their pulse race faster as they wait and wonder which will be their last breath. It makes me giddy just to think about. That anticipation before I drain them of their essence is a terrible tease but I love to draw it out. It’s like foreplay for me.

How many sex partners have you had? How many at one time?
My vampire clan are sexual creatures by nature. We rarely engage in sexual activities with a solo partner. It’s so much more fun with an audience…don’t you think? I’ve had maidens, royalty, warriors, and even women of the cloth. If I want you, you’re mine. That is a fact of inevitability no matter how hard you fight it.

Do you think you are a superior being?
But of course. You mere mortals haven’t the brain power to grasp what it is like to be a ruler of darkness. To embody all that I have and all that I am is a true measure of superiority. I shall never grow old and I shall never die (despite the numerous attempts on my life). I am full of grace and wit and charm. I can have any woman at my beck and call. I live a life of luxury with servants doing my bidding on a day-to-day basis. There are no boundaries that I cannot pass, no rules that I must abide by. It is true freedom in every sense of the word…something your kind can never grasp.

What are your opinions on Costa Calabrese?
The poor lad has come into something he knows absolutely nothing about. In a way I almost feel sorry for him…almost. His demon hunting father should’ve prepared him better for the task ahead. Nevertheless I will not sit idly by while this boy tries to destroy my clan. Chosen One or not he will be stopped.

What are the pro’s and con’s to being a vampire?
Cons? What cons? There is no greater honor than being a vampire. Did I not just tell you the sense of freedom that comes from being superior?

How does one become a vampire?
Do you really want to know? Be careful what you wish for…you look like a tasty little treat. As I said before I was born into it. There are many ways to become a vampire: bite on the neck, drinking the blood, and so on. But it should never be entered into lightly. Once a vampire…ALWAYS a vampire. We’re somewhat like your modern day gangs.

Describe your best kill. Why was it the best?
Ah, so many to choose! One in particular sticks out though. Costa’s good friend Tuck, such a sniveling little worm. He cried, he shook, he even wet himself. When it came right down to it he was such an easy prey…almost too easy, until Costa showed up. That’s when the real fun began. Killing off such a gentle soul in front of his best friend was all too delicious.

What kind of abilities do you get when you become a vampire?
They vary. If you’re blessed like me you get them all. Most of the lower class vampires are usually endowed with strength, agility, and intuition the likes a mere mortal could never even dream of obtaining. They are also permitted a limited shape-shifting ability…nothing like mine, however. I have no limits.

What makes being with a vampire the best sexual experience?
For me every soul is different, every life I take on weaves a thousand tales in my mind. I’ve been a thousand men and a million women. Each drop fills me up to the brink until I shatter with ecstasy. For you? Well…if I’ve set my sights on you, you won’t be alive long enough for it to matter.

Can you control when your fangs come out?
Yes, they usually get enhanced when I’m excited.

Do you like synthetic blood?
That would be like asking you if you like wine from a box. Synthetic blood? Whoever heard of such a retched idea! No…you take all the fun out of it that way. The blood has to be pure, warm, direct from a human heart.

Tell us about holy water, garlic and the sun.
I rather like garlic. But the sun and holy water, they sting. That’s all I’m going to admit to.

Do you have to sleep in coffins?
I go where I wish, I do as I please. Sleeping in coffins is a myth weaved from fables of drunken men.

What do you think about the Cullen Clan?
They are the weak. A black mark on the name of the vampire. As soon as I’m finished with the demon hunter…they’re next.

Character Bio:
Lord LeCarde is the main antagonist in DEMON HUNTER: THE CHOSEN ONE
He is a vampire of the highest esteem having been raised in a royal hierarchy that only dines on the finest of human cuisine. In an effort to sustain his quality of life and his clan Lord LeCarde goes in search of “The Chosen One.” Knowing that the son of the greatest hunter of demons that ever lived is intent on destroying his line, Lord LeCarde will do whatever it takes to avert this destruction. Human life has no meaning for him. Inflicting pain, torture, and death is a favorite pastime.

Earth Day

Earth Day passed last week, and I know I have said this before but I don't care, humans are dense and need to hear things over and over again I have learned. No to mention all those denser than dense immortals out there.
.
Take Care Of This Place!
.
I plan to live on this earth for milenia to come, as do most immortals I know. For the most part I and many I know, all work very hard at keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum. I know some self centered immortals act as if they are humans, and not planning to be around long enough to see the results of their careless actions. These really get on my nerves and make my fangs ache to teach them a lesson.
.
I don't understand how they could not want to keep this world decent and alive, we may survive without things like seasons and rainforests, but once the humans are dying I know the vampires will definitely start to hurt.
.
I don't expect humans to care as much, they won't live to see the results of their uncaring attitudes, even if their children might, grandchildren definitely will. I expect immortals to care more though, and can't understand why they don't.
.
What will get you all, immortal and mortal, to care? Will I have to visit you in the dead of night and threaten your jugular to get you to do what you all know you should do anyway? Because that is a very real possibility, but don't make me, I will likely get cranky very quickly if i do.

Jonathan Speaks! The continuing decay of humanity

Is it me, or does anyone notice how fast the 'human' in humanity has decayed over the years? My city is going INSANE with soullessness! Don't get hit by a car---you'll be left there to die without a second thought. And the kids and their damned 'flash mobs'-- swarming the streets by the hundreds, performing random acts of violence on innocent people. Who'd have thought that organized chaos would reign? Not to mention how my city is constantly crying 'broke' while money gets shifted to other people's pockets. I think I see now why so many people act like a bunch of damned zombies. I also see why I am not too fond of people in general. Do folks LIKE acting like brainless primitives? Sense and civility doesn't exist. Do they have manners? HA! Do they ENJOY violence for violence's sake? Do people revel in being degenerates, priding themselves in the 'me me me' reptilian-brained mindframe? Humanity has went right into the crapper, and for what? Selfishness, greed, arrogance, power, stepping on your fellow man---hell, just say 'the 7 deadly sins'. Anything worth merit doesn't mean squat anymore! Humans SUCK royal ASS.

The zombies ARE real. They're right in front of you.

In the Company of Vampires and Otherworldly Friends

I can’t think of better company than my Naughty Little Vamp friends. They are kind and patient in their tolerance of this mere mortal, and have welcomed me warmly into their fold. Fortunately I’m not cute and tasty, so they don’t regard me as a feeding device. I just write about cute and tasty characters that one might like to feed on, so to speak.

If my friends and my beautiful hostess, Tamara Hightower, will permit, I would like to announce that my novella, Unscripted, is now available at http://www.extasybooks.com/ . Here’s the teaser:

Step into the world of advertising agency ace Kathryn Stroud as her quest to satisfy a difficult client leads her in to the arms—and the restraints—of mysterious videographer, Francois Legere. When manic client Jim Brindleman dismisses three consecutive production teams with a media deadline looming, Kathryn must scramble to put a quality videographer in place and complete a near impossible shoot in time to save the advertising campaign. If she thinks Jim has put her in a bind, she hasn‘t seen anything until she gets irresistibly involved with Francois.

I don’t have a trailer yet because I'm still learning how to create one. See? Now you know what the vampires leave me alone: I’m too green to eat. I hope you’ll check out Unscripted as well as the many other fine selections at eXtasy Books.

It is my celebratory week and so my mother, Zyra, has let me out to play on her blog. I am excited to announce the release of my story, Keeping Blood: Immortal Council Series Book #2. Out now at www.extasybooks.com
This story is the passionate love story of me and my mate, Ian, a werewolf. Also the very important beginning development of The Council of Immortals.

You will get to see why my mother so hates Lillian, animal elf, and why I hate, well...almost everyone.
So how am I celebrating? With my love, Ian, and much private time and champagne. How else?

Blog Bites with Adriana Kraft’s, Jennifer Andrews

SWINGINGGAMES Today we’re interviewing Jennifer Andrews, heroine of Adriana Kraft’s Swinging Games series at Extasy Books. With five books already released and more on the way, Jen is having a blast, and we’re glad she took a moment away from her adventures to give us this candid up-close-and-personal interview.

What makes you special enough to be the heroine of not just a book but an entire series?
I’m not all that special, really – there must be lots of women out there just like me. Maybe they’re just keeping quiet about it. I’m a happily married bisexual woman who is having the time of my life with my husband in the swing lifestyle.

Really? Have you always known you were bi?
No, I’m a late bloomer. I’m in my early fifties, married to Brett for over twenty five years, and once our kids were out of the house we started spicing up our sex life with some hot videos created by women for women. I discovered that watching women having sex with each other was a big turn-on for me, and that helped me put together some feelings I’d barely thought about before. It didn’t take me long to own that I was sexually attracted to women as well as men. Pretty quickly I figured out that the attraction alone meant I was bisexual – but what could I do about that, as a married woman in love with my husband?

What happened next?
One of our hot videos hinted at the swing lifestyle. I had no idea it really existed, but we started doing some on-line research and joined a couple sites. I was amazed how normal some of the people sounded! Brett and I started chatting with some other couples on line and finally decided to take the plunge – you can find that story in Swinging Games: Anticipation. It’s unbelievable how erotic it can be just imagining another couple in bed with you!

Tell me about your most current adventure.
Recently my husband and I staged our first lifestyle party – a carefully selected handful of couples we hoped would click together. You can read about it in Swinging Games: The Adventure Continues. My body still hums when I think of all the fun we had that night, and you can bet my author left no stone unturned to bring you all the hot details.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’ll be nearly sixty – I’ve met lots of people in the lifestyle even older, so I hope I’m still playing, for one thing. I do think staying sexually active helps keep me young at heart!

Tell us a little bit about your author. Where can we find more of their works?
Actually my author is two people, a husband/wife team writing under the pen name Adriana Kraft. They have over twenty published erotic romance books at Extasy Books, Whiskey Creek Press Torrid, Love You Divine and Logical Lust. You can find their books on their website, http://adrianakraft.com, and their blog is http://adrianakraft.com/blog.

Does your author ever try to take over the story? And how do you deal with it?
That’s inevitable, I think! But I’m very patient with them. They’ve had to take time to really get to know me and Brett. If they start writing something that’s not right for us, we just don’t cooperate, and they have to pull back and sort it out before moving on. Swinging Games: Anticipation is an example of that – they dropped in on my life before I was really ready to start the adventure, so they had to write the prequel first!

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
Readers and people who know me personally, yes – I’m playful, secure in myself, generous and warm hearted (oh, and adventurous, of course), and I think people in my inner circle appreciate me. I get tired of stereotypes about bisexuals, so I’m never happy when I run into those. Sometimes I wish I could be real so I could join my authors in their activism for my causes!

If you could offer your author advice, what would it be?
Truly? I hope they keep tabs on all my adventures so I can share my fun times with readers. And I hope they never forget to follow their dreams.

Swinging Games

Book 1 Anticipation

Book 2 Hookups

Book 3 A Tempting Taste

Book 4 Complexities

A special enough day

I don’t typically dedicate myself, or my time to others. If you had a clan and the politics that went with it, believe me, you’d understand! But today is different. Today I want to introduce you to some very special people in my life. Hey, just because I’m a vampire doesn’t mean I don’t care!

With the ruckus of new stories coming to light, I thought it would be a good idea to bring you something to get your appetites going.

Is it not enough that I have put up with her blatant disobedience and have tolerated her abandonment to our way of living and our life together? As Matriarch of the Hightower Clan, I should take what rightfully belongs to me. No one would deny me that right, but I want more than just her body standing next to me. I want her heart and love to follow willingly.
Visit my human at: http://www.anniealvarez.net/ for more excerpts!

I want to talk about our beloved Zyra. She has had her hands full with that daughter of hers and with good reason. Let me give you an example of what I’m talking about.

Born into a world of immortal creatures, Alexia is a one of a kind hybrid between her vampire mother and werewolf father. Shunned by both species, she is alone in her world, wishing only to be human and for once, truly accepted. Ian, a werewolf from another pack, shows up and claims she is his fated mate, much to his own displeasure. When Alexia’s parents disappear, she is forced to ask Ian, and a very unpleasant vampire, Paxton, for help in finding them. Thrown together in their mission to save her parents, will they also find that they share a fate to be mated? Will Alexia finally find acceptance with Ian, or will their differences keep them apart.
I encourage you to find out more. Visit her humans website:  http://www.courtneybreazile.com/

Which brings us to our very special Delora Daye. Yes, she is our resident human and we love her for it. Although, Zyra and I do continue to reason with her about becoming one of us. I think her tenacity for remaining human is one of things we love most about her.

Heat of Winter is what occurs when a beautiful but lonely waitress shares a fast attraction with a sexy and equally single new customer at a freewheeling Greenwich Village restaurant on a snowy February night. The pair keep each other cozy, carefree and coming in what promises to be more than just a one night stand in a snowstorm.

Our very special and mostly absent Anne Pierce. Let me introduce you to one her friends.

Sasha Bolasko has lived a wild and fulfilling life. A Gypsy traveling the world, he has joined an acting troupe called The Friendly Crusaders as one of their star performers. The troupe has crisscrossed the world and are finally returning home to the small French town of Trevinogn. There, Sasha will encounter intrigue, confront rivalry and a woman that could change the way he looks at contentment and settling down forever.
Will his destiny allow him a shred of happiness or will the forthcoming performance be his last? Welcome to Passion Play!

Last, but definitely never forgotten, Jonathan! How wonderful it is to have you with us! He is the life of the party, ask him anything and prepare for what he comes back with!

Age-19. Goofy Goth kid. Loves wearing black. A big fan of "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Crow", he sports eye tattoos of the main characters. Often feels 'lost' in a world that left him behind years ago, and expresses himself in the most strangest ways imaginable, not to mention having a few strange phobias and odd tastes in food. Likes to spend a lot of time online more than venturing out into the 'real world'. A bit of an agoraphobic.

Character Bites with Myrddin

CRMossForEvelyn Good day and welcome. I am a feline familiar named Myrddin. Sometimes my mistress Cassandra calls me Myrd. Other people call me Merlin. My mistress and her family’s stories will be available at Devine Destinies in the ‘Look What the Cat Dragged In’ series by C.R. Moss.

This is indeed different. I have never interviewed a cat before. So, tell us, what differentiates you from your kind? Do you have special abilities?
~ I am a handsome black cat, if I do say so myself, with long silky hair, fluffy tail and piercing yellow green eyes. And, due to my connection with my mistress, I can make suggestions which she is usually wise enough to follow. Through her I can engage others to assist me. I fancy myself a matchmaker. Some people need a gentle push. Some people need a hard poke or two. While others, well, they need a good kick in the arse. I know that may come off sounding a bit harsh, but I am a tough love kind of fellow. There is only so much leeway I will allow my loved ones to take before I intervene. After all, my charges do need to make mistakes and try to find their way in life on their own. But, if they continue to flounder and not get on the right path, you can be sure I will be there to re-direct them. Granted, due to my stature and physical nature, I can not kick anyone in the bum in the literal sense, but I can get under their feet. And the lovely ladies I live with know that all too well. I am a lucky guy to have such wonderful women in my life to love and be loved by. But, alas, I can not fill all of their needs.

Tell me about your most current adventure.
~ My first adventure, available April 1 from Devine Destinies, follows my mistress’s cousin’s friend, Evelyn. She’s a lass from Texas who’s in love with our manor’s resident ghost, Quinn. But she can only experience his embrace in her dreams. Quinn, who doesn’t realize he’s a ghost, loves Eve and wishes she’d stop saying they can’t be together. I have my work cut out trying to get these two together. I mean, one person is dead and the other is alive, how much harder can love and matchmaking get? Then, I get to play matchmaker for Julie and Cassandra. My author says to tell you that you can find out more at: http://www.home.earthlink.net/~cr_moss/id25.html

If you could offer your author advice, what would it be? Live. Laugh. Love. Take lots of cat naps.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you? ~ For the most part yes. The ladies love to stroke me, run their fingers through my hair. They appreciate my insights. And, most visitors think I’m a wonderful feline. But then there’s Alex. I don’t think he was loved much as a child since he’s none too kind to me.

Is expressing love difficult for you? Why?
~ Not usually, if the human is receptive. Give me a lap and a hand to pet me and you’ll have my purr-motor running in no time. I love attention and affection. But if the human doesn’t like cats, believe me, I can think up devious ways to make the human’s life interesting. A shoe and a hairball can do wonders.

If you could time travel, where would you go? ~ I would love to go forward in time. See the world that will be here after my nine lives are over. Maybe visit a time when space travel has been perfected and I could be the first feline in space. How wonderful would that be? Brilliant, I’d say.

If you had the chance to meet another character, who would it be and why?
~ I would love to meet Marius. My author’s cat is named after Rice’s character and I’d like to be able to tell her about him first hand.

What is your most favorite thing to do?
~ Sun myself in Aunt Mae’s garden on one of the decorative rocks as Cassandra tends to her herbs.

Do you think you are a superior being?
~ But of course. I am a cat. My ancestors were venerated by all in Egypt and held in the most high admiration and respect. Plus, I come from a long line of familiars.

Describe your abilities and how exactly did you get them?
I am a familiar, a mystical being that assumed the form of a cat. With my supernatural qualities I can attend to and assist my Wiccan mistress, providing psychic guidance and companionship during spell casting and beyond. One night, when she was young and hurting, she called out to the Universe and I was sent to her. We bonded. I am, however, more than just an instrument for her Wiccan magic. As with all familiars, the relationship between us is unlike any other. It’s a relationship that surpasses the natural plane of reality, where we can commune together on a higher level. As dogs are to man, so is the familiar to a Wiccan.

Is your gift always right?
My heightened senses haven’t failed me so far.

Does your gift get you in trouble?
It hasn’t yet, but I have a feeling when I bring in Cassandra’s true love she won’t be too happy and believe me to be in a world of trouble. I’ll probably end up in the proverbial dog house. Same with Julie. Her true love is arriving at an inopportune time and she’ll blame me for that, too.

What good thing have you done with your gift?
I have brought love into my human caretakers’ lives.

Would you trade your gift for a different gift?
No. Things are as they should be.

Young ones!

LustfulTorment5.25-72dpi
I have had one of those weeks. Every time I turn around, some piss ant human has challenged my authority and forced me to exercise restraint. If they weren’t so damn fragile, I would have…well enough said about the dumb ass humans!

What grated my nerves was one of my own interfering in my affairs. I am a patient Matriarch when it comes to most things. Ask any of my fledglings and they’ll confirm that.

You be the judge and tell me what you think.

Jaz soaped up my hair, massaged my scalp and then pulled me into the water flow and into her arms. As the shampoo ran out of my hair, our lips met and her embrace tightened around my waist. Her hand followed the path of the soapy water until it reached my butt cheek, giving it a little squeeze. Slippery and wet, she rubbed her breasts against my chest. Her nipples grew harder with every pass. I reached between her legs, my hand palm up and fondled her crotch. She dropped her head on my shoulder, sinking her teeth into me as she held back a cry. The hot steam rose around us, enveloping me in its warmth while her bite captivated my senses, encouraging my sadistic side to emerge. I had all but forgotten what it was like to be with another experienced vampire. We loved pain and we loved to bite.

I gripped her hair and pressed her face into my shoulder. I wanted to relish the sting of her fangs for as long as possible. I forcibly drove three fingers deep inside her cunt, and she bit harder. Tendrils of pleasure latched onto every nerve, and I spiraled into a passionate frenzy. Alice moved rapidly as I turned and slammed Jaz’s back against the wall where she once stood. Jaz moaned, released her bite and then filled me with her fingers, compelling my tightened muscles to give way.

As the hot water beat on my back, Jaz continued to fuck me, unrelentingly, driving her fingers into me, adding more fervor to each new stroke than the last. My knees had threatened to buckle. I knew I would come if I didn’t stop her. At the same time that I grabbed her wrist, pushing her arm down forcing her fingers out of me, I latched my teeth onto her shoulder, maneuvered my back against the shower wall and jutted my fangs into her flesh. She moaned and her knees gave. I held her tightly against my body with one arm clasped around her waist. My other hand invaded her wetness while I dug my fangs deeper and drank from her shoulder. Suddenly, the hot water turned to a cold spray. As I gripped Jaz by the waist and threw her out of the shower, I saw Alice moving her hand away from the faucet handle. I hissed and grabbed the back of Alice’s head, getting a handful of her hair in my grasp.

“You were draining her,” Alice pleaded in self-defense.

"She is mine to do with as I please," I snarled, then yanked her head back exposing and biting her neck. Careful only to take a small amount of blood from her, I forced her mouth to my already healing shoulder and made her taste my blood.

I know. Perhaps I shouldn’t have exchanged our blood and bound Alice to me, but won’t you have preferred that to the alternative?

Just Call Me …What?

Okay. So I decided I needed a vampire name. Nope, I don’t write paranormal. I don’t read a lot of paranormal. But, like many people, I’ve always found vampires irresistible. Why not have a vampire name?

Character names usually just come to me. I rarely have to think hard on them. They either click or they don't. But since my characters are contemporary and –horrors! – mortal, their names might be regarded as mundane. Vampires have exotic names or at least interesting ones. Lestat de Lioncourt, Dracula, Barnabas, Zyra, Jonathan, Tamara….and other equally glorious names that roll off the tongue. I needed a name like one of those!

Nest stop: the online vampire name generator. Tell it your gender and it pops out a first and last name for you like a slot machine or a Pez despenser. Some are inventive; others are just plain idiotic. Of the handful of names it generated, here were the only decent offers:

· Mordia Wormwood
· Dawn Blackraven
· Calpurnia Darkblade
· Rosalie Locke (I think I went to college with a Rosalie Locke, come to think of it.)
· Selene Morelock

Ehhh? Not so hot. I turned to the lists in hopes of better. Who comes up with this stuff? The choices ranged from the ridiculous to the absurb all the way to the “no way would I ever name a character that” category, much less adopt the name for myself. There were a few…make that a very feeeeyyyyyuuuuuuuggghhhh…..that I thought were decent, but they were the guy names:

· Archer
· Nicholai
· Drachen
· Valentine (Val-en-teen, I hope)

Okay. They aren't much better. I guess I’ll keep Delora and continue to suck the blood out of my husband’s wallet like he says I do. Hopefully, if I ever decide to write vampire erotica, I’ll be able to invent suitable names for my characters rather than silly or sterile computer-generated monikers. For the time being, I’m happy to read about and enjoy the imaginative names of my Naughty Little Vamp friends.

Do you think you have what it takes?

It is once again time to roll out the welcome mat for any vampires or supernatural creatures that would like to be interviewed by our esteemed panel of Matriarchs.

Yes, yes. It was brought to my attention that we vampires, are not the only supernatural beings out there. *sigh* The invitation extends to all who are daring enough to spend a week with us.

If you think your most recent adventures are worthy of a spot in our blog, have your human author send an email to:

Naughtylittlevamp@gmail.com

Remember that although we do value your human author *toothy grin*, it is you, the character that we are looking forward to spending time with.

After all, we wouldn't want any unnecessary bloodshed, would we?

Bunny Problems

I don't usually have a problem with the way my mate and his pack spend their time. Honestly if it doesn't directly concern me I tend to ignore it. However this year I couldn't sit back while they have their annual Easter hunt, and it isn't eggs they are going after. I am not a lover of nature, animals or any of that. I am, however, a believer in fair. And it just doesn't seem right that the pack spends Easter morning hunting the Easter Bunny!

Oh I know there is no Easter Bunny, but still. They go out to "celebrate" the stupid human holiday and I end up looking at rabbit carcases all over the yard. Apparently whoever finds the biggest rabbit gets some kind of respect, if you ask me its dumb luck. Its not as if they are hunting smart animals after all, these are rabbits!

So I decided this year I had seen enough, and I was going to enlist the help of someone I really don't like. I called the only animal elf I would talk to without being forced, Lucas. As Lillian's twin I hate him by association but after his actions regarding my daughter I have decided to forgive him, just a little. He is obviously not as crazy as his sister, by a small but important margin.

Animal elves are great communicators with, well animals obviously. So I convinced him to come in and do me a favor, play a trick on the pack. He came out early Saturday morning and was able to send all rabbits in the area fleeing. No one knew, it was so subtle and wonderful. That night the pack went out with whoops and hollers, full of blood lust and energy to bring back the largest of the poor defenseless things. I sat back with some refreshing blood and waited to see their sad faces return.

I was not disappointed! They slunk back, one by one, empty mouthed and I held back my giggles, sitting far out of their way, perched out a window upstairs. It was beyond entertaining, I do love to make those stupid dogs suffer a bit, they cause me enough hell.

But the best thing was when this cocky ass were trots into the clearing with a big rabbit in his jaws, clearly bigger than normal, and where the hell had he found it? I wasn't about to admit what I had done but this was too good. The others circled him and it took about ten minutes for the idiot to break down and tell them what he had done. Buying and killing the poor thing, then hiding it nearby.

Idiot wolves...I need to hang out with more vampires....
Oh and Happy Easter.

Character Bites with Valerie J. Long’s, Zoe Lionheart

ValerieJLongLIONESSHEART Hi, friends! I am Zoe Lionheart, involuntary heroine of a series bearing my name which just starts on eXtasybooks. I’m glad Tamara offered me the chance to talk to you, my prospective fans, for the first time, and I hope we will have more opportunities to talk once I’ve found out what I am.
You can find my first mission, Lioness’ Heart, released April 1st 2010, here:

What makes you special?
Good question–I’d like to know that, too. So far it’s a mystery to me. You know, I’ve lead a quite ordinary life, working for a small print shop in Phoenix, until the day my friend was shot down right before my eyes. I barely got away alive. But then, the killer has been after me, the cops have been after me, suddenly my life was a mess! I had to hide in the witness protection program and I needed a new job. Then I was offered a very special job in a very special unit. It didn’t take me long to go for it. First, all other options were ultimatively boring. Second, I’ve always liked this Mission Impossible stuff–the ones with Peter Graves–I simply couldn’t resist being part of it. Third, the team lead–Matt–is such a cute guy!

Do you have special abilities?
Yes, sure. I’ve been a computer geek all my life. There’s hardly a system in the world I can’t hack into–that’s what the team needed me for. Doing some research and such. However, it didn’t take long and I got my first field mission. Matt had to understand that some computers are not connected to a public network–then you have to go and look for yourself.

I have a knack for martial arts, too–and had a good teacher–but that’s probably not what you are referring to, eh? I recently found out that I can run hundred meters in less than eight seconds, and I can keep that pace for half an hour. You’d call that special, do you?

Tell me about your most current adventure.
The one I’ve just finished? Perhaps I should give an idea how it started–have a look what Valerie wrote:

“In front of Rick’s door, a parking space had just become available. Hastily she maneuvered her Mini into the gap. A last look into the mirror—fine. She opened another two buttons of her blouse as the stern office look was not to Rick’s taste and because she wasn’t just flat as a pancake, she could depend on that to titillate him.

Shit. She’d almost landed in the pit, which was gaping in the sidewalk—the municipal services had been in a hurry to knock off work. Well, she could understand that.
In the corridor of the old five-story building, she stopped once again. Today she would go the whole hog so she quickly removed her slip from under the new, trendy black Kate-Moss-look miniskirt, which she had bought last Saturday for this opportunity. For a moment, she pondered where she could leave it, then dropped it into Rick’s mailbox with a whimsical smile.

On the stairs to the upper floor, she had to restrain herself. She didn’t want to be out of breath—at least not yet. Impatiently she covered the last steps, key in hand. Silently she opened the apartment door. She smiled as she heard the light music from the kitchen. To the left, in the dining room, everything was prepared—candles, bowls, chopsticks—so he would be cooking Asian style. One look to the right—oh, rose petals on the pillow! Yes, Rick knew how to create a romantic atmosphere. The corners of her lips slightly lifted.
There was a loud bang and then Rick’s horrified, painful cry sounded from the kitchen. She ran across and jerked the kitchen door open. A cloud of steam gushed toward her. Rick lay on the floor with a blood-covered chest and a dark-red face, rice grains stuck everywhere—to cupboards, ceiling and floor. She leaned down to Rick and lifted his head—perhaps the wonderful curves in her neckline would help to clear his fogged senses—and cried out, “What happened? Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Should I…”
His index finger covered her mouth. “The pot exploded. I meant to change the pressure cooker’s valve seal ring long ago—must have been jammed.” He looked down his body and plucked a small metal piece from a bleeding wound in his chest. “Mmm. This must have been the bolt to the handle.”

He flipped the bolt away as she hugged him, glad that nothing too serious had happened to him. She didn’t care that her blouse was soaking up his blood—but she noticed very well how his trousers became too tight for him. With swift fingers, she opened his fly and seated herself on him. A pity about the dinner, but this would become a wonderful evening!

Still totally inebriated by the adrenaline rush of the exploding pot spectacular, their first intercourse was short and intense. Rick just let it happen, but Zoe took control, her sensual perception sharpened by the preceding shock—and resulting fear for his life. When he responded with passionate strength, the sex was better than she had ever experienced.
She’d had lovers before, had been with tender and patient partners as well as indifferent mechanics. She’d had short and intense relationships up to the three-minute balcony fuck—which hadn’t been too bad, had wasted painfully long, affectionate evenings with a half impotent Italian-American, but nothing could have prepared her for this moment.
And Rick was insatiable. While she still waited for her heartbeat to slow, his hands slid up her side, found the beginning of her breasts, wandered toward her buttons. Methodically, he opened her blouse, pushed the blood-spattered fabric away, let his fingers tenderly circle her round, firm breasts. Then suddenly he grabbed her waist, pushed her above himself. She tensed, spread out her arms, enjoyed the feeling of hovering above him.
They made love to each other a second time, short but intense, on the groaning, protesting kitchen table. Afterward, she wrapped her legs around his hips, let herself be carried around the kitchen table in waltz time while his tongue played with her nipples. Finally he settled her to the floor, ran his hand across her short black hair.

She admired his toned body as he faced her from the kitchen door and she sprawled herself, purring, on the rice-covered kitchen floor. Her gaze wandered up his trouser legs to his still open fly, followed his chest’s muscular curves, where suddenly two red flowers blossomed.

As if in slow motion Zoe watched how Rick’s knees gave in, how his breaking gaze ran across her body for the very last time, how his voiceless cry fought to protest, how the stream of his life pulsated from his chest, how his light went out forever.”

If you could offer your author advice, what would it be?
I prefer if she writes down my stories as I see them. I don’t like if she lets someone sneak up my back and my readers learn about it before I do. Well, she promised me the fourth book would be first person narrative. Do you know what’s good about it? I’ll probably survive the next two books, too. But don’t bet on it–she’s a nasty person sometimes. I’m certainly not the one telling her what to do. If you have ever seen her eyes turn all black, you know you don’t argue with her.

Are you happy with the way people perceive you?
Not entirely. I feel the other people on the team still don’t see me as a full member. I’m just their hacker, and I’m supposed to be left in a safe place when the action starts. I can understand that, I’m new to the group and the other four have worked together for a long time. It’s always this group building stuff. They don’t know me yet, they don’t know if they can trust their lives to me, even if I’ve already saved their asses more than once. Probably we’re not talking enough.

Did you do anything special after your first adventure?
Well, Doc said I should take some weeks off to recover from my injuries. I grabbed my bike and went north, up the coast to Vancouver. I like the Canadians, I like cities at the coast in general, and I very much like this one. I’ve met a nice young waiter in Gastown. We have a lot of fun together, and I think I’m to blame if he doesn’t get enough sleep.
When I’m alone, I try to find out more about me by testing my limits. You could see me in the early morning running around Stanley Park.

If you could pull your author into your world, what do you think would happen to her?
I think we might become friends, teammates, even lovers. We already share a lot, the computer stuff, common values, common thoughts, why not our bed? However, I don’t know if my world could bear someone like her.

What motivates you to continue on these adventures?
If you knew what I found out you wouldn’t ask. Those guys we’re up against have some really ugly ideas. Now that I’m in the position to help, I feel I’m the best woman for my task. Also, I agreed to do that job, to become part of the team. I stand to my commitments. Always.

Hmm–maybe it’s Matt, too.

How many sex partners have you had? How many at one time?
I haven’t counted. There were quite a few during college and university, but rarely more than one at a time. There has been the occasional spring break gangbang, but that was just plain fucking and sucking, I don’t think that counts.

Do you think you are a superior being?
In a way I must be. Otherwise I couldn’t do what I did. But if by saying “superior” you mean “better” in ways of ethics, no. I have my virtues and flaws like everyone else. I’m not perfect, only physically enhanced.

What’s the oddest thing you’ve seen or done?
Me–taking several flights of stairs within the blink of an eye. If that’s not odd, what is?

If you could change one thing about you or someone you loved, what would it be?
Bring Rick back to life.

What’s the one thing you wish you could change about yourself or someone you love?
I’d like to know who I really am.

How do you deal with stress?
Concentration. If time permits, I think about good sex for a few seconds, then get back to business.

Tell us about your first meeting with Matt.
Oh–that! I broke his nose. Probably not the best way to get acquainted with your new boss, would you agree? It was a test. He played the bad guy, I had to wrestle him down, which I did. He feigned to give up and tried to attack me again. He wanted to teach me never to trust an enemy who is not entirely disabled. Well, he took a severe blow and was down again. That way I taught him that I’m not easily surprised and that it’s not a good idea to change the rules while I’m in the game without telling me. If anyone tries to cheat me, I play “no rules”. And believe me–you don’t want me to play without rules.
Matt now knows that. Well–it took him a while to recover, but then he invited me for a cappuccino and into his team.

Do you have any idea where your abilities could come from?
Honestly, no. See–I don’t have problems with garlic or sunlight, I don’t feel the need to drink blood, so my abilities are probably not vampiric. I can visit churches, so I don’t think I’m a demon or something like that–I don’t believe it’s anything metaphysical at all. I can’t remember having been exposed to radioactivity or been bitten by strange creatures or whatever marvels there may be. The only clue I have is that I need extraordinary amounts of nutrients to perform, so the laws of physics apply to me. I’m quite sure I have been born by my mother, not from a bio lab. What does that leave? Heredity? But I can’t ask my parents–they both died in a car accident when I was fourteen–and I have no other relatives I know of.

And a word to my readers – if you have a question you’d like to be asked in the next interview, don’t hesitate to write me: Zoe.lionheart@googlemail.com

Human families

I have an adopted human family that I have been in contact with for several generations and I recently had the pleasure of intertaining them in my home. I know it may seem strange that I, Tamara Hightower, would develop a strong attachment not just to one individual, but their entire family, but it is true.

I love watching them grow and gratefully, I have memories of long past relatives, they have only heard about. For me, today is a sad day as I must say good-bye and watch them return home. There is something about a 10 month old baby that warms even the coldest heart. She has all ready shown qualities that are condusive to a Matriarchal bloodline. If it were not for my promise to preserve their bloodline, I would consider bringing her into my world.

The boy child is absolutely adorable, but lacks the physical exercise that will make him a decent vampire. I fear that he would not last long in my world. It's a shame that technology has crippled the physical stamina of today's youth. Perhaps, a few weeks with me will strenghten him up some. I shall consider extending the offer to his parents.

On the same family note, many of you know that I consider Zyra part of my extended family and I am pleased to announce that her human author has released a new story. No, it's not about Zyra, but it is entertaining. It only goes to show the company this human has been keeping lately. If you get a chance, pick up a copy of Lilly's Turn for a Rose at: Buy Here
